Gut Reset Program with an Expert Gastrointestinal Dietitian Nutritionist
—Gastrointestinal Dietitian · Virtual Coaching
Your gastrointestinal issues showed up and took over your life.
Let’s find out why.
Bloating, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, stomach pain — if you’ve been dealing with gastrointestinal symptoms that disrupt your daily life and doctors keep telling you everything looks normal, you’re in the right place.
Gastrointestinal issues go beyond just physical symptoms. It’s the plans you’ve canceled, the foods you’ve stopped eating, the energy you’ve lost, and the way you’ve quietly stopped showing up in life the way you want to — in your work, with your family, and even in your own body.
I’ve worked with hundreds of women who came to me feeling like a shadow of who they used to be. Within weeks most of them tell me they forgot what it felt like to not be thinking about their gut every single minute.
There’s a root cause. After everything you’ve been through, you deserve to finally find out what it is.

—Does this sound like you?
Your gut is running your life.
It doesn't have to.
You’re planning every outing around bathroom access. Travel, dinners out, social plans — your gut makes the decisions before you do.
You’ve cut out so many foods you’re not sure what’s actually safe anymore. You’re eating less and less and still having symptoms.
Your colonoscopy came back normal. Your doctor shrugged, called it IBS, and handed you a prescription that isn’t working.
You’ve tried probiotics, elimination diets, supplements from every health influencer on the internet. You’ve spent tons of money but still feel terrible.
You ordered your own labs, plugged the results into AI for answers, and got advice that felt like it was written for everyone and no one at the same time.
You’re exhausted, foggy, and frustrated. Your gut is affecting your energy, your mood, your relationships, and your confidence.

Youre gut stopped working.
Here's what's actually going on.
Most women with chronic gastrointestinal issues have already seen multiple doctors and left with the same answer every time. In this video I explain what’s actually causing your symptoms, why conventional testing is designed to miss it, and what a gastrointestinal dietitian does differently.
—Why standard gut treatments keeps failing you
Medications mask symptoms.
They don't fix what's causing the problem.
Doctors reach for prescriptions because that’s what they’re trained to do. But no medication addresses the food sensitivities triggering your immune system, the microbiome imbalances disrupting your digestion, the nutrient deficiencies slowing your healing, or the stress contributing to gut-brain axis symptoms. You stay stuck in a loop of temporary relief and returning symptoms — because the root cause is never actually addressed.
60-65%
of people with digestive issues are women — yet gut symptoms in women are consistently undertreated
~20M
GI-related outpatient visits by women annually in the US — most leaving without real answers
50-75%
symptom improvement within the first few weeks of the program for most clients

—Why nothing has worked yet
The root causes your doctor isn't
testing for.
Standard bloodwork and colonoscopies don’t look for food sensitivities, microbiome imbalances, or nutrient depletions — the three things most commonly driving chronic digestive symptoms. That’s why your tests keep coming back normal while you keep feeling terrible. My program uses functional testing specifically designed to find these root causes.
Food Sensitivities & Immune Reactivity
MRT food sensitivity testing identifies the specific foods triggering immune reactions and gut inflammation — including foods you eat every day that you’d never suspect.
Gut Microbiome Imbalances
Metagenomic stool analysis maps your bacterial ecosystem, identifies opportunistic overgrowths, inflammatory markers, and what’s actually disrupting your digestion at the microbial level.
Nutrient Deficiencies
Micronutrient testing identifies the specific depletions linked to gut issues and slowed healing — so your supplement protocol is targeted and therapeutic, not random.
Diet & Lifestyle as the Foundation
Food and lifestyle are the foundation of almost every gut health challenge. We use what your testing shows to build a diet that actually supports healing. We address other factors like stress, activity levels, your sleep schedule, toxin exposure and more.
—What makes working with a gastrointestinal dietitian different
You've already tried the generic approach.
This isn't that.
What you’ve probably already tried
Colonoscopy came back normal — called it IBS and sent you home
Low-FODMAP diet handed over with no real explanation or follow-up
Random supplements from influencers who’ve never seen your labs
Plugged your lab results into AI and got advice that felt like it was written for everyone and no one at the same time
Given multiple prescription medications that mask symptoms without fixing anything
Being told it’s just stress, anxiety, or something to learn to manage
The digestive reset program
Functional labs that conventional medicine doesn’t order — all included
Someone who reads your results, explains them, and builds a real plan
A protocol built around your body, individual triggers, and real life
In-depth 1:1 coaching — journals reviewed, plan adjusted as you respond

Sarah Neumann Haske, MS, RDN Gut Health Dietitian · Asheville, NC
I built this practice because women kept being
dismissed.
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Microbiome Analyst with 20 years of clinical experience with the last decade focused entirely on gut health. I built my practice around one specific problem: the stubborn, confusing digestive issues that don’t respond to standard advice. Because I’ve spent ten years figuring out exactly why they happen and what actually moves the needle.
I’ve worked with hundreds of women who came to me after years of normal test results, unhelpful diagnoses, and treatments that masked symptoms without solving anything. My approach uses advanced functional testing to find root causes and real food and lifestyle changes to address them — not temporary fixes.

What clients say after
working with Sarah
I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough! I have struggled with digestive issues and stomach pain for all of my adult life and could never get answers — until now. I love how personalized her approach is; it’s totally tailored to me and uses data and insights from MY bloodwork.
Working with Sarah has changed my health in more ways than one. I’ve struggled with my gut health for years and decided it was finally time to get to the root cause. The extensive testing that Sarah conducts and the ability to work with her on a weekly 1:1 basis has completely changed the game for me.
I struggled for years with an array of GI problems and had multiple visits to the doctor’s office with no answers. I had been placed on a few medications, but really had no answer to WHY or how to fix my GI. I knew I needed to get to the root cause of this in order improve my life. I can now say that I have had three months with hardly any GI issues and it is absolutely wonderful.

—Why working with a gastrointestinal dietitian works
Why this program works
when everything else hasn't
01
The right order matters
Most women come to me having already tried pieces of this — a probiotic here, an elimination diet there, some labs they ordered themselves. The problem isn’t effort. It’s sequence. There’s a specific order to functional gut healing and when you skip steps or stack things randomly, nothing sticks. My program follows a proven clinical sequence so every piece builds on the last.
02
Testing that actually finds the answer
The labs I use aren’t available through your doctor and aren’t covered by insurance — which is exactly why your doctor hasn’t ordered them. Food sensitivity testing, metagenomic stool analysis, and micronutrient testing give us a complete picture of what’s driving your symptoms. All three are included in your program.
03
You won’t be left to figure it out yourself
Getting results on paper means nothing if you don’t know what to do with them. I interpret everything in the context of your full health history, build your plan around your actual life, and stay in your corner for the full three months. Weekly sessions to start, biweekly after that — and I review your food and symptom journals between appointments so nothing gets missed.
04
Results that come faster than you expect
Most clients see 50-75% improvement in symptoms in the first few weeks — not after three months. Because when you remove the right triggers at the right time with the right support, your body responds fast. The three months is where the deeper healing happens and the new habits become effortless.
—Why going it alone keeps you stuck
You've already tried to figure this out.
It hasn't worked
You’ve Googled, you’ve eliminated foods, you’ve bought supplements, maybe you’ve even ordered your own labs and plugged the results into AI. And you’re still here, still dealing with the same symptoms, still frustrated.
It’s not because you haven’t tried hard enough. It’s because gut health has a specific sequence — and without knowing what’s actually driving your symptoms, every change you make is a guess. Some guesses make things worse. Most just waste time and money.
The other problem is information overload. One source says cut gluten. Another says take probiotics. Your friend swears by keto. An influencer is selling a cleanse. None of them know your body, your history, or your test results. And none of them are accountable if it doesn’t work.
“That’s the difference between trying radom things and actually having a step by step plan to solve it.”

—Common Questions
Everything you've been wondering
about working with a Gastrointestinal Dietitian.
WHAT CONDITIONS & DISEASES DO YOU HELP PEOPLE WITH?
I primarily work with women who struggle with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I also work with clients who struggle with chronic diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, bloating, leaky gut, diverticulosis, reflux, and GERD.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with me as this program is designed to support anyone looking to reset and improve their digestive health.
I’ve also helped women heal autoimmune conditions, migraines, and skin issues in conjunction with the digestive work we do. Although my practice primarily focuses on women’s health, I’ve also worked with men who have any of the above mentioned conditions as well.
DO YOU RECOMMEND SUPPLEMENTS?
Often I will recommend some sort of supplemental protocol to help speed up your recovery. The supplements I recommend will be specific to your needs, not contain any of your sensitivities, and give you the specific nutrients you need in therapeutic dosages. As a courtesy, my program clients get 15% off professional grade supplements when they shop via my online dispensary while working with me.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?
WHAT KIND OF LABS DO YOU DO? CAN I JUST HAVE MY DOCTOR ORDER THEM?
I use specialized functional medicine lab tests that aren’t available in conventional medical practices or covered by insurance. These may include food sensitivity, comprehensive stool, and in-depth micronutrient tests. Your conventional primary care doctor doesn’t use these tests because they aren’t covered by insurance.
People who’ve eliminated their symptoms with my program often have had other tests done with their conventional medical provider that either came back “fine” or offered no direction for therapy. With my program you won’t waste your time going back and forth between your doctor and your health insurance.
If you already have results from a colonoscopy, endoscopy, celiac panel, or other blood test, you’ll want to submit those to me as part of your assessment. If you plan to work with me and haven’t had a physical in the past year, I’ll give you a list of basic lab work to ask your doctor to order; often doctors will skip over important labs unless you ask.
HOW DO WE MEET?
HOW LONG IS YOUR PROGRAM? WHEN CAN I GET STARTED?
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
My Digestive Reset Program is not covered by insurance but you’ll get so much more than what insurance allows or deems “billable” or “necessary.” All clients are self pay. I offer the option for a 6 month payment plan with CareCredit. In some cases you can use your HSA or FSA card to pay for the program (you’ll have to check with them first).
The majority of my clients pay out of pocket for the program because they know their health is worth than a 7 minute doctor visit and another expensive prescription that just doesn’t work.
You can’t put a price on your health and on being able to eat, travel, and function without pain or discomfort from your gut issues. My program will save you time, thousands of dollars in the long run, and provide the answers you’ll need for complete healing.
HOW DO I KNOW IF A DIETITIAN IS QUALIFIED?

-
Passed a national registration exam
-
Maintains credentials with continuing education (CEUs)
I also hold a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, have over 20 years of experience in dietetics, with 10 years specializing in gut health. I’m a certified LEAP therapist (offering food sensitivity testing), a Certified Microbiome Analyst (offering comprehensive stool testing), and I provide micronutrient testing with personalized interpretations for your gut health situation and lifestyle.
HOW MUCH DOES A GUT HEALTH DIETITIAN CHARGE?
Fees for a Gut Health Dietitian will vary depending on:
-
Education and credentials
-
Years of experience
-
Specialty certifications
-
Services offered (lab testing, meal planning, coaching)
Private-pay dietitians, typically charge between $130–$200/hour. The rate is determined by their credentials, certifications, specialties, and years experience.

HOW DO I VET A GUT HEALTH DIETITIAN EXPERT?
Useful questions to ask a potential Gut Health Dietitian Expert:
- How often do you work with people with gut issues? Are you comfortable working with my specific condition?
- Do you provide meal plans and deteailed coaching for implementing dietary changes into my lifestyle?
- Do you understand the difference between a food allergy, food intolerance, and food sensitivity? Do you know how food sensitivities contribute to immune reactions and gut inflammation? Do you know which foods are common irritants to the gut?
- Do you undestand the potential harm of long term restrictive diets (i.e. low-FODMAP) on gut health?
- Do you know how to interpret microbiome tests and know which ones are best? Do you understand the important role of microbiome imbalances in digestive issues and utilize research backed tools to rebalance it? Do you understand that use of certain herbs at high doses can actually harm the delicate ecosystem of keystone beneficial bacteria? Do you understand how to asses if someone is producing inflammatory by-products from overgrowths of opportunistic bacteria? Do you know how to assess and interpret inflammatory markers on these reports? Do you know what foods support a healthy microbiome?
- Do you understand which nutrient deficiencies are linked to gut issues and slowed healing?
- Do you offer frequent check-ins to evaluate progress and adust my plan as needed?
- Do you evaluate my food and symptom journals to identify food sensitivities or intolerances that may have been missed?
WILL I NEED TO CHANGE MY DIET IF I'M WORKING WITH A GUT HEALTH DIETITIAN?
Most likely, yes — but the changes will be likely be so beneficial that you won’t miss your old way of eating. Your diet will be individualized based on your food sensitivity test results and overall digestive profile.
I provide coaching with:
-
Recipe ideas and how to edit them to fit your new diet
-
Food product recommendations you can find at your grocery store and that don’t contain your reactivities
-
A detailed menu planner to help you implement your food sensitivity results in real life
You may need to temporarily dicontinue eating out, stop drinking alcohol, and remove your individual trigger foods. Typically, foods are removed for 3–6 months and can often be reintroduced as your immune system resets in ~90-day cycles. The diet is temporary, and many of my clients report immediate digestive relief, increased energy, boosted mood, mental clarity, and a reduction in water retention & extra weight they’ve been holding onto.
